I don't want to taste

the lies on your lips.

You pull me close

with arms so cold

tracing my outline;

fingers digging into hips.

My body's turned off,

my heat controlled.

Retreating into my mind

I turn my back on this moment.

I feel you near

but lay here alone.

I don't want to feel

the sting of your kiss.

You whisper softly.

All I hear is her moan.
